This wonderful plaque was hand painted by me with over 20 years experience in selling painted slate in the Pittsburgh area and even through ABBEY PRESS. I collect the slate from roofers replacing out gorgeous old stately homes throughout the Pittsburgh area. I hand-cut each piece. I can make slate decorations for you, look at the items I have for sale and I can make the same item, even in multiples, larger or smaller.

I can add your family name or saying if there is enough room. I don’t use stencils…all with my Pittsburgh handwriting! The largest slates are usually 12″ x 18″ if I have that size in stock. I hand paint with acrylics and finish the item with acrylic spray which will protect it for years in the inclement weather.
Most items we sell are antique or vintage. Unless otherwise stated, all items have been used. They will have normal/typical wear commensurate with age. This is not considered damage. We do our best to describe our items to the best of our ability and in great detail. Any significant faults will be mentioned in the item description. We are selling these items “AS IS”, “Where Is”, with no Returns. We welcome your questions before the auction is over.
